Blue Valley Chocolate Farm — Horseback Riding, Swimming & Picnic Experience

Most visitors to Costa Rica never make it to a place like El Higuerón. Our 84-hectare protected rainforest and cacao farm is as beautiful and unspoiled as it gets - and you'll explore it on horseback. Ride through forest trails and cacao fields until you reach the natural river pools winding through the property, where you can swim and unwind while our team sets up a rustic picnic with fresh local ingredients. After lunch, ride back through the farm and take the whole experience home with you.
