Spanning over 88 hectares of rich agricultural land and secondary forest, Finca El Higuerón is our flagship agroforestry project in Costa Rica.
While Llano Azul serves as our mature production engine, El Higuerón represents the massive, future-forward scale of our operations. Initiated in early 2025 near Upala, Alajuela, this planting-intensive initiative already features more than 42,000 cacao trees integrated into a highly diversified polyculture ecosystem.
Through aggressive land restoration and carbon-resilient farming practices, Finca El Higuerón is evolving into a model for global biodiversity and long-term agricultural sustainability.
